Mother...the highest & priceless title.

In conjuntion with Mother's day here's 3 very simple zig zag card ideas.

Materials used: Plain card stocks
Patterned papers by KCK
Rub ons
KCK peel off stickers
pearl strings
Flower brads(KCK)

Smallest card measures 6 1/2" X 9"
Score at 3" & 6"
Fold down score markings & draw a slanted line from top right hand corner.Cut off & punch with desired border punchers.
I kept this simple with just a strip of scrap patterend paper & green flower ribbon.

The largest is an album card.4 pcs in all,each measuring 5" X 7 1/2".Score at 1/2" on each side before attaching all pieces together.Once attached,draw a slanted line from the top right corner.
Glue on desired patterned paper & embellish.

Hi scrappers....don't you just love weddings??

The happy bride & groom,all the yummy food & a burst of colourful decor!

Had mine some 18yrs back & I sure had tonnes of memorable photos.One too many albums so I decided to take some of my favourites & create an accordian file to store my priceless moments.

Materials used:
6pcs of 6 1/4" X 9" envelopes(cut off about 1/2" on top)
Webster pages papers
Peel off stickers
Prima say it in pearls
Doilies
Prima ribbon embellishment
Pearls & gems
Tim Holtz ideology ornate plate


I started out by glueing the 6 envelopes together on all 3 sides leaving the top free for photo mat slotting.

Distress all corners of envelopes.
Front & back envelopes need to be glued completely,then past on patterned paper.

Once the accordian file has taken shape,cut off a piece to act as a cover for your file & add embellishments.I basically added say it with pearls & a small doily & left the gorgeous paper as is...once I got all my embellishments on,I then decoupaged the cover just to give it a good shine.Place a magnet underneath the cover for closure.

I placed an ornate plate bearing the year I got married on back of file. 



There are 4 photo mats for pictures & 2 slots left intentionally empty for some of my favourite love letters & cards.

I had cut out some of the little butterflies,cake prints from my paper stash & added some pearls to give it a glow.

Hi there,

It's been a while & here I am again with a rather large

 10"x10" album

I'd like to call, Celebrating love.

Materials used:

-Teresa Collins 10"x10" fabrication linen cover.

-Be my valentine papers from We R Memory keepers

-Glitter borders by KCK

-"Sweetie" bling stick on by KCK

-Prima flower

-Ribbon

-Key Rings

Front cover depicts a gate fold which opens up revealing a glitter slot for love letters/cards.

To create an enlarging effect,

I've cut each page about 1/4" bigger starting with the smallest at 6 1/2"X8".

Since this is a rather large album so there's ample space for plenty of pictures & journaling.

I chose to call this one "Celebrating Love" as

I've used pictures of my honeymoon dating 18yrs back...

It's really simple to put together as I've only punched out 4 holes and bound it with key rings.

I've also cut out little birdies from the paper stash, rose, buds, added ribbons & laces for the cover.

It's a simple & fun project. Hope you'll try it out & share it with us.

Hi there,

That time of the year is here again.I have altered a cookie tin filled with lollies & a 12 days of Christmas tag set for those celebrating this merry occasion.

What is Christmas without candies & the traditional reds & greens...

The cookie tin was decked with papers from the Prima Ledger collection.I've also used Prima's Christmas flowers,glitter thickers,pom pom ribbons & gems.

Here's how the lolly holder is put together:

 

-cardstock cut to 6 1/2" x 2 1/4"
-score at 2 1/2" x 4"
-designer paper cut to 2" x 2 1/4"

 

 

Fold at the score lines & glue the lolly onto the middle.
Punch 2 small holes by the stick & loop a ribbon through to put the holder together.
I've also die cut green & red scalloped hearts(from the KCK collection) using glittered cardstock to jolly it up.

This was a really fun & easy project so I hope you'll try it out.

Hey scrappers,a month has past real quick & here I am with another project.

 

This November,we will be showcasing projects using mainly KCK products.

 

What I have done this time is a 2013 calender.

 

Measuring 7'' X 7'', front cover boasts KCK's cardstock stickers.

 

The stickers were individually cut out & 3D dots were used to give them a raised 

effect.

 

Flower buds,blings,laces & alpha stickers complete my calender cover.

 

I used a mixed of printed KCK papers & plain cardstocks for this 12 paged calender project.

 

Each page has a printed calender for year 2013 inclusive of public holidays.

 

Stamped with individual months which is again raised with 3D dots,I've also created slots & tags on alternate pages for keeping those movie tickets or polaroid pictures.

 

This calender is put together using the 3/4'' cinch binder.

 

Now who say you can't make your own personalised calender? Try it , it's awesome & simple!

Hey fellow scrappers,

last month's been really hectic but I managed to get this simple 4 1/2" X 7 1/2" journal

using This & That by Lori Whitlock & Dots & Stripes from EP coll.

Entitled Family....Always Together,I've pieced up pictures from the time there

were just me & hubby till my 2nd born.

 

Journal's created from a 12"X12" paper,folded into an "accordian" pattern from

3" at 1/2" each,all the way to the 7 1/2" mark.

 

These are then glued together from the back to create a "hinge" for the pages.

Embellishments includes Tim Holtz ideology,mixed blooms,chipboard

stickers,laces & say it with pearls.

For the next couple of weeks, some of our designers will be showcasing different styles of albums.

To kick start,here's a 5"x2.5" mini tag album entitled simply divine.

 

I used a combination of papers from Prima pack en francais & nature garden collection .
Each page has a slot for tags to fit small pictures & messages.

Embellished with small flower buds, butterflies, ribbons & brads.

Album is put together with the cinch .75" in gold.

Hi all , I'm Roza. Proud to join "Krafers' design team" from August 2012 !

This particular project I've worked on is a standing picture frame.It's a 5page flip stand which holds about 6 pictures. I used the Parisian paper stash mixed with Prima flowers, Tim Holtz's ticket, laces, organza ribbons & K&Co alphas. Most of the embellishments can be purchased at KCK so head down now !
