Weekly Inspiration By Alice

Hi there, another parchment project to share with you…
All the flowers petals, leaves and butterfly are cut out with a 4-needle tool instead of scissors.
Each individual piece is assembled together with foam tape and glue.

Trace the pattern on the vellum paper with white gel pen.
After tracing the pattern, turn over
vellum paper and emboss with a small ball tool.
Use a 4-needle cutting tool to cut
all the traced pattern as shown.
Use brown and pink card stock as background.
I used a 5”x7” frame for the whole picture.
Actual piece of artwork is display at the shop.
Do drop by the shop to find out more about the parchment class.

Weekly Inspiration By Ridz

Hi everyone

I'm sure you remember that Father's Day is just around the corner.  This accordion style album is so simple to do and yet so versatile.  It can work as a card, a simple journal, or fill it up with pictures and turn it into a mini album. If you use a thicker cardstock (or just layer more papers), you'll make it really sturdy enough to stand like a frame for his desk.

I hope this will inspire you to give a handmade gift to that special man in your life.
