Weekly Inspiration By Dewi

The school holidays are here again! How are you mummies and daddies coping ? I am sure your kids are enjoying themselves tremendously.
For this week's project, I was given a stash to work with. It consisted of products ranging from patterned papers to ribbons and stickers to stamps. I chose to include Sew Easy into this project since I just got them (and am dying to use them!).

My head spun with so many possibilities. But as usual, the idea got changed as I moved along the production quest. I had wanted to do a layering technique but ended up rather simply to enhance the prints of KCK's Glittering Glamour.

As you can see the final look is simple and that simplicity lends it a rather elegant look ...hmmm actually muchos gracias to the chandelier and candelabra hehehe...

Anyway, here are some close shots of the details.

In my next projects, I think I would play with more Sew Easy. It felt like there is still great potential to be explored. But I liked the way it was easier to thread through the thick papers.

So were there any technique or product that caught your attention? Well, I do hope you found some inspirations here today. Do come back to visit us and we hope you will get more inspired to scrap.

Exploding Box Stationery Set
Hi Everyone
This week I’d like to share with you an exploding box project with a slight twist to it.
The box when closed looks like any regular boxes.  It measures about 4 inches all around.  Remove the lid and the box will “explode” to show off its contents.  In this exploding box, I’ve turned it into a stationery set.  Simply by placing pockets inside it you can put quite a substantial amount of stationery.  In here it houses 6 notecards, 6 mini envelopes, 6 tags and a little notebook.  I’ve put a flower in the center of the box to add a little decoration.
I hope this has inspired you to create a stationery set of your own.  Do drop by “K”rafers’ Paradise to have a closer look at this and the other projects.

Inspiration By Roza

Hey scrappers,a month has past real quick & here I am with another project.

This November,we will be showcasing projects using mainly KCK products.

What I have done this time is a 2013 calender.

Measuring 7'' X 7'', front cover boasts KCK's cardstock stickers.

The stickers were individually cut out & 3D dots were used to give them a raised

effect.

Flower buds, blings, laces & alpha stickers complete my calender cover.

I used a mixed of printed KCK papers & plain cardstocks for this 12 paged calender project.

Each page has a printed calender for year 2013 inclusive of public holidays.

Stamped with individual months which is again raised with 3D dots,I've also created slots & tags on alternate pages for keeping those movie tickets or polaroid pictures.

This calender is put together using the 3/4'' cinch binder.

Now who say you can't make your own personalised calender? Try it , it's awesome & simple!

See you all again in a month's time...tata from me.
